Located just off the Moanalua freeway cut-off, this is a nice, 11-mile long hike. Although lengthy, it's a good beginners hike because it's only slightly hilly. Like majority of the hikes in Hawaii, the Moanalua Valley Trail will take you through many different terrains: lush forest to dry grassy fields to fern filled valleys. Today we didn't make it all the way to the top, but we did about 5 miles of the trail - if Anthony didn't have to work we would have made it!

Koko Crater Stairs... AGAIN!
Stair-master from Hell again but so worth it. It's one of the best lower-body workouts there is!
**Sorry for the variation in color/lighting... just trying some new camera features out**

Mariner's Ridge Trail
Finally got back outdoors with my camera! Mariner's Ridge is a hike in Hawaii Kai, about 3 miles round-trip, that takes you from dusty rocky trails to cool, pine tree forests. It's a beginner/intermediate trail that the entire family can do.
